Parcels and bundles is an open studio exhibition project by LASALLE’s McNally School of Fine Arts.
Inspired by the everyday ritual of carrying personal belongings in a sarong or tarpaulin bag, the project uses this act as a starting point for collaborative, process-based and site-responsive research. It explores ideas of care, shared and non-hierarchical ways of working, exchange and resourcefulness within contemporary art practice.
This two-part experimental project is part of Venetian Kind, presented in conjunction with the Venice Biennale 2026. The programme brings together researchers and postgraduate students from Deakin University, Auckland University of Technology, LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore, and the University of Venice. The project will run from May to November 2026.
