Berita Harian: An interactive project to encourage youths to speak Malay
When MA Design student Masturah Maidin saw that fewer youths spoke Malay at home or with friends, she was driven to create a safe space to allow youths to use the language without fear of criticism.
With her 15 years of experience in design, she developed Speaking Selves, which connects youths with the elderly through interactive telephone booths and postcard mailboxes.
