Diploma in Music
Heema Izzati
2026

Heema Izzati is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter whose interdisciplinary foundation spans classical performance and contemporary songwriting.

Heema embodies an artistic voice that is honest, emotionally resonant and deeply personal. Incorporating her love of alternative rock, pop and soul music, she pulls from her experiences to write songs that are unapologetic, colourful and bold. Heema released her first single Locked Out in 2023 and her debut EP Sleep When You’re Tired in 2025. She has performed extensively with industry icons as well as at the National Day Parade.

Recognising that formal music education may not be accessible to everyone, Heema runs a free music programme for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, empowering young learners through classical music. In 2024, she gave a TEDx Talk on “Growing Up With Music, Giving It Back”, reflecting on how music became both her passion and her purpose.

After graduation, Heema will be pursuing a degree in music at LASALLE.
