Dr Subashini K Rajanthran is a distinguished educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of education, driven by a profound passion for teaching, learning and student engagement. Her expertise encompasses the meticulous planning, design, and facilitation of workshops and training sessions aimed at advancing the quality of teaching and learning through innovative methods.
Dr Subashini is a strong advocate for integrating the latest technology into educational practices, recognising its transformative potential in enhancing both teaching and learning experiences. She is dedicated to incorporating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the curriculum, ensuring that students are not only well-prepared for their professional futures but are also equipped to contribute positively to global sustainability.
Her commitment to instilling values in students is evident in her approach to education, which emphasises ethical considerations, social responsibility and global awareness. She actively integrates these values into her teaching and curriculum design, fostering a learning environment that encourages students to become conscientious and proactive global citizens.
Before assuming her current role as Head of The Learning Centre at LASALLE, Dr Subashini held several prominent positions, including Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of the School of Foundation Studies, and Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her career is marked by a steadfast dedication to the training, mentoring, and support of academic staff, significantly advancing educational programmes and research initiatives.
Dr Subashini’s unwavering commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in her continuous professional development and research activities, through which she seeks to further enhance educational practices and outcomes.
