JAZZ@LASALLE: OLD AND NEW DREAMS 26’ celebrates the meeting of generations through jazz, bringing together current students and alumni from the BA (Hons) Music’s jazz specialism at the School of Contemporary Music at LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts, Singapore, alongside seasoned veterans and mentors from the local scene.
Featuring a vibrant programme of predominantly original music, the festival highlights creativity, individuality and the evolving identity of jazz in Singapore today. It offers a meaningful platform for past and present musicians to reconnect, collaborate, and share their artistic journeys. In doing so, the festival honours our local talent and contributes to the richness of Singapore’s cultural landscape through the powerful, ever-changing language of jazz.
