LASALLE has established dedicated research labs, centres and networks to enable a focused approach to the conducting of research projects in particular subject areas and topics.
LASALLE faculty are also prominently involved in international networks that stimulate inquiry and research, while the numerous activities of LASALLE’s Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore continue the inspiring academic discourse on campus related to artistic practices in the 21st century.
Tropical Lab
Tropical Lab is an annual international art camp organised by LASALLE College of the Arts for postgraduate students from arts universities and institutions around the world.

SERVICE is a cross-collaborative research initiative based on the theme of play between LASALLE College of the Arts and Nagoya University of the Arts and Sciences.
Ancer
ANCER is Asia Pacific’s first Network for Cultural Education and Research. The network’s aim is to contribute to a better understanding of the study of arts management and cultural policy in the region.
Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore
The Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore (ICAS) is the curatorial division of LASALLE. It provides curatorial expertise and resources in the areas of exhibition development, display and mediation, publishing and education, and manages the LASALLE College of the Arts Collection.
Shared Campus
Shared Campus is a cooperative platform for international education formats, research networks, and joint productions, established by leading international arts universities, schools, and colleges.
The future belongs to professionals who communicate, exchange, debate, and critically reflect on ideas within a global framework. Shared Campus establishes connections that generate value for students, educators, researchers, and professionals, and enables participants to share knowledge and competencies.
The platform is designed around themes of international relevance with a distinct focus on transcultural issues and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Around our five core themes, we co-create a broad scope of activities within education, research, and cultural production. These include: Semester programs, summer schools, courses, workshops, networking events, symposia, festivals, publications, and a collaborative learning platform.
